Position: Senior Manager / AGM - Design Development (Men's Wear-Knit)
Location: Hulimavu, Bengaluru
Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters in Fashion Designing
Experience: 12-18 Years
Must have design experience in Men's wear - Knit Garments.
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing the research and development of new styles for an organization.
- Managing the design process from conception through to final styling.
- Skilled in providing trend analysis of colors, fabrics, styles, prints, graphics and trim details utilising brand concepts and forecast journals.
- Adept in interpreting the buying behavior of consumer groups through regular sales analysis and tracking slow and fast-moving stocks.
- Strong comprehension of line development, cost sheets and design specifications.
- Proficient in Computer-Aided Design: Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Freehand and Microsoft Office, useful in making effective story board and trend presentations to the apparel team.
- Presenting best Product collections based on buyer/client requirements.
- Offering the best cost-effective product from our different manufacturing units to meet the target buying cost.
- Confirming goods shipment delivery dates based on the product quantity & type
- Manage a team of designers
Desired Profile
- Candidates should have experience in Knits.
- Proficient knowledge of textiles.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw
