Senior Ansible Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks roles and modules for infrastructure automation
• Automate provisioning configuration management patching and deployment activities
• Work with Ansible Automation Platform AAP Tower for job orchestration
• Integrate Ansible with tools like ServiceNow Splunk Terraform and CI CD pipelines
• Design reusable and scalable automation frameworks
• Perform troubleshooting debugging and optimization of automation workflows
• Ensure best practices such as idempotency error handling tagging and version control
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify automation opportunities
• Create documentation runbooks and knowledge transfer sessions

Technical Requirements:

• Ansible Collections Build and manage structured reusable automation components
• AWX Ansible Tower AAP Configure job templates workflows RBAC and credentials
• CI CD Tools Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps Integrate Ansible into automated pipelines
• Vault Tools Ansible Vault HashiCorp Vault Secure secrets and sensitive variables
• Cloud Platform Modules Automate AWS Azure GCP VMware Kubernetes resources

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong hands on experience with Ansible
• Good knowledge of Linux Unix administration
• Experience with YAML Jinja2 templating and Git
• Understanding of REST APIs and integrations
• Familiarity with CI CD tools Jenkins GitHub Actions etc
• Basic scripting knowledge Python Bash PowerShell
