Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and feature specifications for Android automotive systems.
- Perform Android 14 platform analysis and identify AOSP extension areas.
- Design and implement AOSP extensions for automotive applications.
- Develop and integrate Android Middleware components for infotainment and cluster systems.
- Migrate/reuse existing middleware components into Android 14.
- Create detailed test specifications and execute test cases.
- Perform regression testing and automation (as required).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system-level and middleware issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–16 years of experience in Android automotive-based development, especially in the AOSP area.
- Strong experience in Software Architecture analysis and design.
- Proven expertise in middleware component development for infotainment and cluster systems.
- Proficient programming skills in Java and C++.
- Hands-on experience with GIT and Gerrit version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex middleware and system-level issues.
Preferred Attributes
- Exposure to Android 14 migration and platform upgrade projects.
- Experience in automation frameworks and scripting.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and protocols.
