Senior Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST/JSON).
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Proficient inAndroid SDK,Kotlinand/orJava.
• Experience withMVVM/MVParchitecture.
• Strong understanding ofMaterial Design,Jetpack components, andAndroid UI/UX guidelines.
• Familiarity withRESTful APIsand integration withthird-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge ofSQLite,Room Database, and local storage management.
• Experience withversion control systemslike Git.
• Good understanding ofGoogle Play Store deploymentand app lifecycle.
• Experience withFirebase,Push Notifications,Analytics, etc.

Nice to Have:

• Experience withJetpack Compose.
• Familiarity withCI/CD tools(e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise).
• Knowledge ofUnit TestingandUI Testing(JUnit, Espresso).
• Exposure toAgile methodologiesand tools like Jira.
