Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer for a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust Android applications that meet user requirements and business objectives. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences and ensure high performance, reliability, and quality of mobile applications. Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging, and staying updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure application quality, reliability, and security.
• Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
• Document solutions and processes.

Must-have Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in native Android development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, WorkManager).
• Solid understanding of Android UI/UX design best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Accountable, self-motivated, and able to deliver independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform.
• Working experience or familiarity with Flutter.
• Exposure to modern development practices (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coroutines, Dependency Injection).
