Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Data Engineering and Analytics team in Bengaluru. You will own the design and implementation of large-scale data warehouses and data marts that power product and business decisions across the company. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where your data architecture will directly shape how the company operates and grows
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines using dbt on Snowflake
- Own end-to-end data projects — from requirements gathering with stakeholders to production deployment and monitoring
- Partner with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to make data accessible and actionable
- Implement data quality frameworks with test-driven approaches to catch bad data and trigger alerts in the pipeline
- Optimize query performance using partitioning, clustering, incremental modeling, and Snowflake-specific best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders on data modeling best practices and analytics engineering standards
- Define and drive the data vision and architecture for multiple product domains across the company
Must Have Criteria :
- 5+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering roles
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL experience, including window functions, STRUCT/ARRAY manipulation, and query optimization
- 5+ years of Python experience for data pipeline development and automation.
- 3+ years of experience building data transformation pipelines using dbt (Core or Cloud)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake as the primary data warehouse (partitioning, clustering, incremental models
- Proven track record of owning and delivering large-scale data warehouse or data mart projects with measurable business impact.
- Experience designing ELT pipelines and working with data quality/testing frameworks within
dbt.
