Job Title:Senior Analyst - Technology Procurement (IT Services Technology)

Location:Bangalore

Business & Team:Group Procurement (GP) is responsible for supporting the bank's Technology function to procure world leading technology solutions, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

Impact & contribution:The Category Senior Analyst Procurement is responsible for supporting and co-managing procurement activities across a designated portfolio, including operational support and sourcing activities. The scope includes but is not limited to procurement projects related to IT Services Tech Procurement and Business Resilience.

GP team members are expected to perform all tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values, namely Courage, Care and Commitment.

Within the IT Services Technology scope and business unit, the Senior Analyst manages activities including IT Services engagement, Stakeholder Relationship, Business Analytics, Sourcing Management, Contract & Supplier Management, and Risk & Compliance

GP delivers benefits and mitigates risk to enable our customers to achieve their business goals. We do this through applying specialist knowledge across the procurement lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT Services Technology procurement projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver on agreed targets and objectives through the implementation of strategic or tactical procurement strategies/plans
  • Develop effective performance management strategies across all sub-categories and major suppliers in line with the Supplier Governance Framework and in collaboration with the key business owners
  • Interact directly with the IT Services Technology stakeholders and business leaders to develop, manage and execute the agreed integration and procurement strategies
  • Advocate compliance to Bank-wide and Procurement processes and technology
  • Ensure savings and realised benefits are clearly defined, agreed and recorded by the business and procurement team.

Risk Management:

  • Demonstrate a full and comprehensive understanding of risk and risk processes
  • Provide and deploy appropriate process and governance to address all aspects of risk
  • Ensure that you, comply with Group policies and procedures and any relevant external legislative requirements.

Essential Skills:

  • Risk Mindset -All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
  • At least 6+ years direct and relevant experience in delivering end-to-end sourcing & Technology category management
  • Solid ability to manage and influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with customers and suppliers,
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and PC skills.
  • Deep understanding of leading practice procurement technology
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively, as one team
  • Ability to think laterally and develop new and innovative solutions to problems
  • Capability in procurement related risk management.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
