What You'll Do
Role responsible for managing inventory reporting and analytics, generating insights on inventory movements, and supporting global SCM and finance stakeholders through accurate reporting, validations, and process standardization.
- Own and execute inventory performance reporting cycles (daily/weekly/monthly) with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze root causes behind inventory variances: Forex impact, HQ planning, volume, mix, price movements.
- Gather detailed stakeholder requirements, ask clarifying questions, and define expected deliverables.
- Support profit planning, forecasting cycles, Excess & Obsolete reserve assessments, and related reporting.
- Partner with cross functional teams (Materials, Logistics, Business finance, Plants) to gather inputs and drive closure of discrepancies.
- Contribute to process standardization and digital enablement initiatives (Power BI, automation, Excel templates, macros).
- Support audit requirements, documentation updates, and SOP maintenance.
Qualifications
Requirement:
- Chartered Accountant (C.A.) / ICWA / MBA (Finance)
- 6-8 years of experience in Inventory Reporting & Analysis, MIS, Financial analysis
Skills
- Understanding of Inventory Management & related KPIs viz. Days on hand inventory (DOH), Absorption, Inter-company transactions, Fx rate impacts, E&O accruals / write offs, etc.
- High-level understanding of Overall Supply Chain operations.
- Strong Excel proficiency; exposure to Power BI or SQL is advantageous.
- Knowledge of financial ERP's (Oracle, SAP etc.)
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling mindset.
- Possess a Center of Excellence mindset seeking to develop and leverage solutions internationally.
- Strong ownership and accountability orientation
