Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced S/4 ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA technical solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA ABAP development, CDS Views, AMDP, object-oriented programming, and embedded S/4 BW OLAP query development. The ideal candidate should also understand clean core principles in S/4HANA and be able to build scalable, upgrade-friendly solutions aligned to SAP best practices.
Work you'll do
As a Software Engineer II on the SAP S/4HANA Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing, and supporting custom SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions
- Building and enhancing Core Data Services (CDS) Views, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), reports, enhancements, interfaces, and forms
- Developing and maintaining embedded SAP S/4HANA BW/OLAP queries for reporting and analytics
- Applying object-oriented ABAP principles to create reusable technical components and optimize performance for S/4HANA-native development
- Supporting code reviews, unit testing, debugging, documentation, deployment activities, defect resolution, and post-go-live stabilization

Our SAP S/4HANA team delivers technical solutions that help organizations modernize enterprise processes and support digital transformation. The team works across implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives, with a focus on clean core design, extensibility, analytics, and sustainable SAP development practices. Team members collaborate across technical and functional teams to deliver scalable, upgrade-friendly solutions.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 4-6 years of experience in SAP implementation and support projects
- Experience in ABAP development
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development
- Experience developing Core Data Services (CDS) Views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)
- Experience developing embedded SAP S/4HANA BW/OLAP queries
- Experience using object-oriented programming in ABAP
- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting in SAP environments
Preferred:
- Experience with clean core concepts and extensibility approaches in SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with Analysis for Office (AO)
- Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI integration and OData services
- Experience with SAP standard extensibility techniques and upgrade-safe development practices
