Job Description Hiring, Core Python Developer

1. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer. We are seeking candidates who are self-starters and motivated to develop not just solutions that works but ones that are best in class.
2. We are looking for someone who can build new frameworks and enhance existing frameworks related to data pipelines, ETL, analytics, and web applications.
3. The role will have wide range of responsibilities including influencing the technology choices to get the job done and to provide any other support in the operations of the program.
4. The role will add immense value to the role holder through enhancement of Technical knowledge, analytical skills and exposure to technologies suite in the PropTech domain.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans to build prototype solutions to deliver immediate business value by acquiring and integrating new data sources into the information infrastructure.
• Leads the engagement with colleagues and internal customers to understand current business processes and develop/ re-engineer supporting data management processes and deliverables.
• Provides implementation support to the migration of departmental and business processes to our strategic solutions.
• Ensures the development of adequate documentation and communication materials to facilitate accurate usage and interpretation of our data.
• Consults with team members to ensure their processes are designed and executed with maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Mentors analysts on proper standards/ techniques to improve data quality and the efficiency of processes.
• Like to work as a member of a high-performing team.
• Flexibility to deal with assignments while working on several projects simultaneously.

Experience & Education

• Bachelors degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative discipline in science, business, or social science. Advance degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in the fields of information science, data management and/ or computer science.
• Expertise in the Python programming language (from a software-development perspective, not data analytics or data science) - being a full stack developer is a plus
• Demonstrated experience with data architecture, data integration/ ETL, data warehousing, and/ or business intelligence deployed in a complex environment.
• Prior experience working on Reporting/ Visualization Tools such as Tableau is preferred.
• Ability to scope, plan and execute assigned projects in a fast paced environment.
• Advanced Analytical and Presentation skills using MS Powerpoint or any other story- telling platforms/ tools
• Technical Skills & Competencies
• Expertise with Python programming language.
• Expertise with SQL databases (MSSQL, etc)
• Experience with no-SQL databases (Mongo, Neo4j, etc)
• Exposure to cloud environments and technologies (preferably Azure)
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django/ Flask.
• Experience with TDD (Test-Driven-Development) and Agile development process.
• Experience with Git source control
• Ability to communicate up and down to people of diverse backgrounds and computer knowledge.
• Ability to work remotely with key stakeholders and business partners
• Good technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and a team player.
