Personal Systems & Processes | Senior Analyst

Work you will do

As a part of this team, you will be involved with:

  • Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organization skills, as well as the ability to think critically
  • Gaining a detailed understanding of existing processes to ensure proper execution
  • Developing strong problem-solving skills and ability to leverage knowledge for process improvement
  • Developing strong knowledge of independence and related regulatory policies
  • Working closely with Partners, Principals, Managing Directors and other Deloitte professionals to ensure that they are compliant with independence requirements
  • Researching and analyzing large volumes of data in MS Excel.
  • Supporting Management by handling various operational responsibilities within the team
  • Supporting Management and other team members in providing training on policies and compliance processes
  • Identifying and proposing process improvement initiatives related to independence data and systems
  • Assisting in the development of procedures and knowledge documents
  • Supporting junior staff in complex matters
  • Directing/leading special projects as needed

Independence & Conflicts Network

The Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) Personal Monitoring team performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organization remain unbiased and free from conflicts-of-interest, in fact and appearance, when providing service to attest/audit clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte US Firms and personal independence is essential to the business and reputation of Deloitte.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Post Graduate/MBA (preferably in Finance) with overall relevant experience of 3-5 years
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to think critically and exercise good judgment
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to rapid changes and be flexible
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects and tasks within tight deadlines
  • Ability to execute complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong research skills
  • Proficiency in MS office suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

  • Basic awareness of regulatory policies pertaining to the securities markets and the PCAOB
  • Prior experience in Risk & Compliance
  • Familiarity with various research tools (Bloomberg, D&B, OneSource)
  • Experience working in a large corporation or accounting firm

Location: Hyderabad, India

Shift timing: 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST
