Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Foundations
Location: Hyderabad, India
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical supply chain professional to join our Foundations Supply Chain team in Hyderabad. This position will play a key role in driving operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation across complex, large-scale supply chain operations.
The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will support global initiatives spanning planning, sourcing, logistics, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of data analytics and forecasting tools, experience in heavy equipment or renewable energy supply chains, and a proven ability to collaborate across teams to deliver on-time and cost-effective results.
You'll be part of a fast-paced, innovative team supporting renewable energy and industrial manufacturing projects worldwideleveraging analytics, automation, and strategic planning to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Operations
- Manage supplier allocation data based on schedules, pricing, volume agreements, and inventory levels.
- Analyze and reconcile delivery schedules versus allocations in Anaplan or equivalent systems.
- Identify deviations between sales and purchase orders; provide exception reports and insights for planners and delivery managers.
- Support demand forecasting and inventory optimization initiatives, especially for long lead-time and capital-intensive components.
- Perform analysis of planned, shipped, and delivered orders for projects; identify and close operational gaps.
Analytics & Automation
- Lead digitization and automation initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce manual effort.
- Develop KPI dashboards, cost-to-serve models, and supplier performance scorecards using Power BI and AI-driven tools.
- Manage data integrity and analytics for on-time delivery (OTD) and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) dashboards.
- Automate supply-demand analytics to support shipment prioritization during international transloading.
- Conduct market, commodity, and logistics analysis to support sourcing and freight optimization strategies.
Supplier & Project Management
- Evaluate vendor performance, Fleet Center operations, and logistics partners to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, and operations teams to drive supplier accountability and continuous improvement.
- Issue proactive weekly project alerts highlighting delivery gaps, BOM variances, and schedule impacts.
- Support documentation and standardization through SOP development and Lean process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 46 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle SCM, or similar).
- Experience with data visualization, process automation, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and startup-like environment.
Preferred
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, heavy equipment, semiconductor, or steel manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to Agile project management (JIRA, Confluence) and system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, S&OP processes, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Demonstrated success using AI/ML tools or predictive analytics for supply chain forecasting.
