Senior Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst focused on identifying and evaluating high-growth private companies approaching public market listings. Should have expertise in fundamental research, valuation, and transaction due diligence across multiple sectors.

His responsibilities would include sourcing proprietary investment opportunities, engaging with promoters, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, and venture investors, conducting detailed investment assessments, and monitoring portfolio companies through the IPO lifecycle. Also support fund's investment process through disciplined risk assessment.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Investment Research & Analysis

• Identify and evaluate high-growth private companies with IPO potential.
• Conduct fundamental research, financial analysis, and prepare investment recommendations.
• Source investment opportunities and monitor market trends.

Financial Modelling & Valuation

• Build financial models and perform valuations using DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transactions, and SOTP.
• Support transaction due diligence and investment evaluation.

Portfolio Monitoring

• Monitor portfolio companies through the pre-IPO and post-listing lifecycle.
• Track financial performance, KPIs, and investment risks.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with promoters, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, and venture investors.
• Collaborate with internal investment teams and support the fund's investment process through disciplined risk assessment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.

CFA (preferred), CA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.

7–10 years of relevant experience in: Private Equity, Venture Capital, Asset Management and Investment Research

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Private Equity, Pre IPO investing and Public Market investing.

Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.
