Job Title: Senior Analyst - IT Services (Senior HCM Payroll Data Analyst)

Reports to: IT Manager

Workplace Type: Hybrid (2-3 days work from office in a week)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior HCM Payroll Data Analyst to manage, analyze, and optimize payroll data across enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday, ADP, and other payroll platforms, ensuring accurate data processing, compliance, and reporting for global payroll operations.

Experience Level: 610 years in HR/Payroll data analysis and HCM systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Data Analysis & Validation:
  • Analyze payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Perform reconciliation between HCM systems (Workday, ADP) and financial systems.
  • Data Integration & Transformation:
  • Support integration of payroll data between HCM, ERP, and third-party systems.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping and transformation logic for payroll processes.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Create dashboards and reports for payroll metrics, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights to HR and Finance teams for process improvements.
  • Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and internal audit controls.
  • Maintain data privacy and security standards across payroll processes.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Identify gaps and recommend automation or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to enhance payroll workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Workday HCM, ADP, and payroll data management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of global payroll compliance and tax regulations.
  • Experience in data reconciliation, error handling, and audit reporting.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms (Workato, APIs) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday or ADP certification.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for payroll reporting.
  • Exposure to cloud-based HCM systems and data migration projects.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead data-driven initiatives.

KPIs for This Role:

  • Payroll Accuracy: 99.5% error-free payroll processing.
  • Data Reconciliation Timeliness: Complete reconciliations within SLA (e.g., 2448 hours).
  • Compliance Adherence: 100% compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
  • Reporting Efficiency: Delivery of scheduled reports on time ( 95%).
  • Process Improvement: Number of automation or optimization initiatives implemented per quarter.
