Job Description

  • Responsible to review/prepare the NAVs of the hedge fund clients on a daily/monthly basis
  • Prepare Cash/Position/Market Value Reconciliations and resolve breaks; notify Clients/CSMs of valid breaks and make adjustments for errors or omissions
  • Review portfolio pricing and analyze pricing exceptions
  • Review corporate actions and ensure correct booking in the system; reconcile Dividends/Interest with Broker reports
  • Accrue/amortize daily or monthly non-security-related fee accruals, including management fees and financing accruals
  • Process non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives and related cash movements
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding daily reporting of Estimates/NAVs/Query resolutions
  • Validate accurate booking of all OTC products traded by the client
  • Book capital activities of the fund
  • Finalize month-end NAV and provide Investor Level Allocation reports
  • Support fund audits and assist in preparation of financial statements; ensure audit issues are documented and resolved
  • Contribute to projects related to automation, work migrations, and conversions
  • Support implementation of global changes in key operating procedures
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as Securities/Trades and Pricing Team, Reporting Team, Investor Services, Auditors, and Clients

Skills Required

  • Experience with an investment management or finance-related firm
  • Over 5 years of experience in Hedge Fund administration or related industry
  • M.Com/CA/MBA Finance/CFA
  • Familiarity with Paxus is a major plus
  • Ability to think critically and objectively
  • Strong experience in general ledger accounting with attention to detail and strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required
