In this role, you will support global HEOR projects through economic modelling, including preparing model inputs, supporting model development/ adaptations, running analyses, and contributing to technical report, as well as assisting with literature review/ evidence synthesis as needed. You will:

  • Support cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and other economic analyses for new health technologies under the guidance of senior HE modeller
  • Conduct systematic searches and assist in reviewing and extracting data from published economic, clinical and epidemiology literature
  • Assist in building, updating, and maintaining health economic and decision-analytic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact)
  • Prepare model inputs, run model analyses, and support documentation of assumptions, methods, and results
  • Contribute to evidence synthesis activities, including data preparation, summary tables, and technical sections of reports
  • Support development of value-for-money assessments, informed by clinical, economic, societal, and patient-centric considerations
  • Maintain data and records pertaining to economic analyses and model development
  • Assist in preparing slide decks, technical reports, and presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members, including epidemiologists, market access SMEs, project managers, and project leads, to meet project timelines
  • Proactively flag risks to timelines or deliverables to the project lead or manager
  • Support communication with clients and internal stakeholders, where needed

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Economics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Public Health or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in HEOR - economic modelling, preferably in consulting or pharmaceutical industry
  • Foundational understanding of health economic concepts, decision modelling, health technology assessment and/or epidemiology
  • Ability to work with data-cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting results
  • Proficiency in Excel (including working with formulas and structured spreadsheets) experience with VBA programming is must
  • Basic knowledge of R and/or Python for data analysis or modelling is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes & quality standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within global, cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in health economic modelling, including both de novo model development and model adaptations
