Work you'll do

The role serves as a learning partner, collaborating with selected Offering Portfolios within Consulting to support and align with business objectives. The primary goal is to ensure that the learning team's initiatives are strategically aligned with the business needs and priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Vision:
  • Act as a Growth & Development business advisor on effective and leading-edge learning and development strategies to achieve business goals
  • Program Management:
  • Plan, execute and operationalize development programs and processes that support Deloitte professionals performance and growth in technology. Partner with SMEs and US teams to ensure training materials are most up to date.
  • Assist in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences, to help Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow as a technologist at Deloitte.
  • Participate in learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among a diverse set of cross-functional business and G&D stakeholders, SMEs and peers.
  • Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems.
  • Create and review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
  • Confidently raise issues and risks and manage-up to drive achievement of desired business outcomes.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
  • Operations:
  • Partner with the L&D Lead to manage learning and development investments through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
  • Use learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published and leveraged for decision making
  • Simplify learning opportunities / make learning more planned and predictable
  • Metrics/Reporting:
  • Demonstrate initiative in gathering feedback and data from practitioners, improving learning and development programs, and constantly moving learning to the next level
  • Partner with the Learning Delivery and Evaluations teams to use best-in-class core G&D development processes for communications, classroom delivery, metrics, reporting, and solution support

The Team

In our US India offices, the Consulting Growth & Development team supports capability development, professional networking and career progression for the region's professionals. The team specializes in connecting the dots between internal and external team members to provide a wholistic learning solution to business and come across as one.

Qualifications

Graduation: Any graduation degree

Post-graduation: MBA/ PGDBA/ PGDBM or equivalent degree

Experience:

Overall 4+ years of progressively complex experience in Learning and Development matrixed organizations focused on international markets.

Experience in overall training process management, training needs identification, vendor management, project management, cross-border stakeholder management, financial management

Preferred skills:

  • Must be able to create business value of Learning initiatives
  • Action Oriented with focus on delivery and timelines
  • High Customer orientation, excellent interpersonal skills and project management
  • Analyze Data in order to unearth performance gaps and validate hypotheses. Strong proficiency in using MS Office tools, including MS Excel
  • Strong orientation towards and understanding of contemporary technology trends in general and learning technologies in particular. Ability to independently work with cutting-edge technologies and enable their quick and wide adoption in the space of learning
