Description
The Flex Team Analyst plays a pivotal role in our dynamic and adaptive workforce, contributing to the organization's resilience and agility. The Flex Team, initiated in September 2021, focuses on cross-training analysts across various workflows to enable seamless support for multiple business functions when needed. The primary objective is to create a pool of versatile resources capable of addressing short-term supply shortages in different teams, thereby mitigating volatility in efficiency metrics such as Turnaround Time (TAT) and volume fluctuations. This strategic initiative aims to enhance consistency across teams, ensuring optimal operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage in continuous learning and cross-training across diverse workflows within the organization.
- Master various business functions, processes, and tools to become a versatile resource for different teams.
- Collaborate with team leaders and managers to assess and address short-term supply shortages.
- Respond promptly to emerging needs in different teams by deploying acquired skills and knowledge.
- Provide operational support to teams facing increased workloads or urgent projects.
- Ensure a smooth transition when temporarily joining a new team, adapting quickly to the specific requirements of the role.
- Effectively communicate with team members, leaders, and stakeholders to understand and fulfil temporary assignments.
- Share insights and lessons learned to facilitate continuous improvement within the team.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cross-training experiences, creating a knowledge repository for the Flex Team.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to balance assignments across different teams.
- Maintain flexibility in availability to address urgent needs, ensuring timely response and support.
Basic Qualifications/ Skill Sets
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of [2+] years of experience in mortgage funding, loan processing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan documentation, terms, and regulatory guidelines.
