Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Analyst – Finance Operations to own and manage the company's end-to-end Accounts Payable function while supporting cash management, forecasting, and broader finance operations initiatives. This is a high-impact, high visibility role that combines hands-on operational excellence with meaningful partnership across AP, accounting, FP&A reporting, and business leadership.

Reporting to the Director, Finance, this individual contributor role will be responsible for Accounts Payable operations, cash reconciliations, cash forecasting support, and continuous process improvement. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining strong financial controls, enhancing operational efficiency, and building scalable finance processes to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Manage the end-to-end AP process including tracking bills, GL entries, approval workflows, and payment execution.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Manage employee expense reimbursements and corporate card reconciliations.
  • Monitor AP aging and proactively resolve outstanding issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Cash Reconciliation & Forecasting

  • Perform periodic cash reconciliations across all bank accounts and payment platforms.
  • Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies on a timely basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash movements and support cash payment-related activities.
  • Support management reporting through cash flow analysis and forecasting updates.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve cash visibility, forecasting accuracy, and working capital management.

Growth & Ad-hoc Finance Support

  • Take ownership of additional responsibilities as business needs evolve in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional finance programs.
  • Assist with financial reporting, audits, compliance activities, and operational finance initiatives.
  • Contribute to FP&A reporting, management dashboards, and finance transformation initiatives as the function scales.

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. MBA/M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Accounting, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, cash management, and financial controls.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP (expertise not required)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM (expertise not required)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or other high-growth environments preferred
