How will you make an impact in this role

The successful candidate will be responsible fordeveloping, maintaining, and innovating algorithmsthat drive business impact. The role sits within commercial Decision Science team and requires strong analytical capabilities, learning agility, and a passion for exploring new ideas, techniques, and research to continuously improve existing solutions and build new ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop,enhance, maintain ML algorithmsand modeling solutions to supportseveral data science and modellinguse cases across credit, fraud, and risk.
  • Research, Innovate and proposenext-generationML algorithms and algorithmic approaches by exploring emerging techniques, research papers, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a disciplined review process to identify opportunities for new algorithms, features, and process improvements.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective adoption, usage, and enablement of algorithms.
  • Monitor algorithm performance and ensure robustness, stability, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Support documentation, validation, and audit requirements for algorithms across their lifecycle..

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, data science, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, or a related field.
  • Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R or the equivalent), and experience with databases (Hive, SQL) and cloud computing environment.
  • Hands-on experience in machine learning algorithm development or application.
  • Prior professional experience or internships in data science arepreferred.
  • Ability to drive project deliverables to achieve business results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently on sophisticated, unstructured initiatives, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners worldwide.
