Job Role: Senior Analyst – D2C Growth
You should apply if you have:
- A sharp, analytical mind that asks why three levels deep - whether your background is product analytics, growth, or e-commerce
- Strong problem-solving and RCA skills - you can go from something is wrong to a structured diagnosis with evidence
- Quantitative comfort with cohort analysis, funnel math, and statistical reasoning
- An AI-first workflow - you use LLMs and vibe coding tools to move faster than a traditional analyst would
- Stakeholder management ability - you can present a nuanced finding to a department head and push back on a poorly framed brief without friction
- Ownership-driven attitude - you investigate problems no one assigned to you, and you see through findings to action
You should not apply if you:
- Are looking for a role where you hand off a brief and wait for someone else to pull the data
- Need a long ramp time - we expect you to pick up D2C context quickly and start adding value within weeks
- Treat dashboards as the final deliverable rather than the starting point of an insight
- Are uncomfortable operating without perfect data - judgment calls in a messy environment are the norm here
Skills Required:
Must-Have
- RCA & Problem Solving: structured, hypothesis-driven root cause analysis - from symptom to cause to fix
- Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning: read a dataset, identify what matters, spot what's missing, draw defensible conclusions
- Metrics Fluency: deep grasp of funnel and product metrics - how they connect and what levers move them
- Analytics Tools: Excel/Google Sheets for modelling; at least one BI tool (Metabase, Looker, or similar)
- AI-Assisted Building: actively use LLMs and vibe coding tools to build dashboards and automate analysis
Good to Have
- Product Analytics Tools: familiarity with event-based analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, or similar)
- D2C or E-commerce Context: prior experience in a D2C, quick commerce, or high-velocity consumer business
- Python: basic scripting for data pulls or automation
What will you do
Own and Monitor Core D2C Metrics
- Track KPIs daily - cancellation rate, cart drop-off, checkout conversion, COD-to-prepaid ratio, RTO %, funnel stage leakage
- Flag anomalies before anyone else notices them and initiate investigation immediately
- Build a clear picture of where the funnel is healthy and where it is leaking
Run Root Cause Analyses on What is Not Working
- When a metric dips, run a structured RCA - slice by traffic source, device, geography, SKU, and customer segment
- Separate symptoms from causes; go three levels deep before proposing a fix
- Document findings in a format that is shareable with product, marketing, and ops teams
Benchmark Against Competition
- Regularly audit what leading D2C and e-commerce brands are doing - checkout flow, pricing architecture, offer mechanics, CRM nudges
- Translate external observations into Nutrabay-relevant hypotheses and test cases
- Identify gaps where Nutrabay is behind and opportunities where we can move first
Propose and Write Solutions for Cross-functional Teams
- Convert findings into crisp, prioritized proposals for the product, marketing, and visual merchandising teams
- A good proposal has a clear diagnosis, a suggested fix, and an estimated impact
- Follow through to ensure recommendations are understood and actioned
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
- Present findings and recommendations directly to department heads and founders
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives - and hold your ground when the data tells an inconvenient story
- Proactively share weekly or ad-hoc insight summaries with relevant stakeholders
Light Dashboard Building and Self-serve Analytics
- Spin up lightweight dashboards using AI-assisted tools or Metabase for stakeholder self-serve
- You are not the team's BI developer - but you can build what's needed fast when needed
Support Experimentation and A/B Testing
- Work with the product team to design experiments - define success metrics, calculate sample sizes, read out results correctly
- Build a hypothesis backlog from your ongoing monitoring and benchmarking work
