The Cybersecurity team analyzes and tracks the global cybersecurity services and technology market acrossgeographies, sectors, and segments. From our published reports to custom decision support, cybersecurity team supports clients through its fact-based data and insights to analyze and assess markettrends and topicalissues, provider capabilities, and solution characteristics across cybersecurity landscape.

This is an exciting industry segment and the Senior Analyst will be expected to analyse cutting edge developments in SecOps/ threat detectionand response areassuch AI-driven threat detection, autonomous SOC, advancedextended detection and response(XDR), and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) as well as provide ongoing commentary on core SecOps domains including security information and event management (SIEM), security orchestration, automation and response(SOAR), managed detection and response (MDR), identity threat detection and response (ITDR), post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and AI security.

The Senior Analyst will focus specifically on the technology (solutions and software) side of the cybersecurity market and is expected to contribute to the research program by delivering high-quality, original research reports and custom advisory projects.

This will require the candidate to support the team's efforts to build meaningful connects with relevant market stakeholders, maintainan ongoing dialogue with senior industry executives on key issues, and track the cybersecurity technology market for identifying emerging themes. The candidate will also be required to deliver custom research engagements on broader cybersecurity themes (including services market) that help our clients grow and compete better.

Key responsibilities

• Identify areas of research based on industry, market activity, and client needs within cybersecurity research space
• Problem solve and structure work to manage deliverables and timelines
• Contribute significantly to the published research agenda of the cybersecurity practice
• Lead medium sized custom research engagements
• Actively develop domainexpertise, leveraging subjectmatter experts, and external sources
• Support business development efforts through proposal writing and other initiatives
• Participate proactively in external market communication by responding to analyst inquiries, conducting executive conversations, and maintaining/growing long-term client relationships

Education & experience

• Bachelor's degree;MBA required (preferably from Tier-1 B-School)
• 1 to 3 years post-MBAwork experience in technology/advisory/research/outsourcing strategy environment. Keen interest in technology and cybersecurity industryis strongly preferred
• History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
• Experience in the technology sector especially in cybersecurity is a plus
