Overview
This role focuses on supporting the Investment & Operations business across all Local Business Units (LBUs), and the Client Service & Distribution team at the regional level for a Singapore based Asset Management firm. The Business Analyst will support the Aladdin Project & Change Governance team by delivering high-quality business analysis, data-integration specifications, and governance artefacts for initiatives across LBUs.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis Investment
- Engage with LBU business teams to capture business requirements
- Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, and functional specifications
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test scenarios, sample data, expected outcomes, and business signoffs.
- Create Level 1/Level 2 runbooks and SOPs to strengthen operational readiness and reduce recurrent incident load.
- Data Integration Specialist Third-Party Systems
- Develop detailed source-to-target data mappings, including business rules, transformations, lineage, and validation logic.
- Specify API/data contracts (REST/SOAP), payload structures (JSON/XML), schedule/frequency, timeout/retry logic, and error handling requirements.
- Review Python/ETL logic conceptually (inputs transformations outputs) to ensure functional correctness; no coding required.
- Work with internal and external technical teams to validate integration assumptions, dependencies, and target-state architecture.
- Governance, Controls & Audit Support
- Maintain all change governance artefacts: requirement documents, design signoffs, impact assessments, test evidence, and release readiness checklists.
- Participate in the ClientAladdin Change Board, technical working groups, and cross-functional design reviews.
- Ensure processes meet the firm's security, privacy, audit, and risk expectations.
- Prepare documentation for internal/external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant control frameworks.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams, providing clear translation of requirements, risks, and dependencies.
- Create and deliver presentations, training materials, and knowledge assets to support stakeholder onboarding and adoption.
- Provide structured, proactive updates to the Associate Director, Aladdin Project & Change Governance.
Experience
Required Qualifications
58 years as a Business Analyst, Data Integration Analyst, or Systems Analyst in Asset management Domain with Aladdin experience /Salesforce.
Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of investment processes.
- Understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud: data model, objects, permissions, and reporting, data integration concepts is an advantage
- Experience with MDM, client data platforms, marketing technology, or BI/reporting systems is an advantage.
- Proven ability to write BRDs, functional specs, user stories & test cases
- Proficiency in data-integration concepts: REST/SOAP APIs, data transformations,
- Basic ability to read/interpret Python or SQL for functional validation

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose complex processes into structured documentation.
- Excellent communication clear written English, effective facilitation, and persuasive presentation skills.
- Comfortable working across offshore/onshore teams and navigating multiple business domains.
