Role Summary
The Senior Analyst in Analytics & Process Excellence plays a key role in supporting the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) function through advanced analytics, reporting, and process improvement. This role is responsible
for developing insightful, data-driven analyses that support strategic decision-making, enhance procurement performance, and enable operational efficiency. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, manage
procurement dashboards, monitors key metrics, and identify opportunities to optimize spend, improve supplier performance, and streamline processes. By turning complex data into clear, actionable insights, this role directly
contributes to cost savings, risk reduction, and stronger cross-functional and supplier partnerships.
Role Description
- Assist in developing data analyses and reports that support sourcing strategies, procurement performance tracking, and operational improvements
- Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key procurement metrics, including spend, savings, and supplier performance
- Analyze data from multiple systems (e.g., ERP, payment platforms, procurement tools) to identify trends and support sourcing initiatives
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to support sourcing events, including basic bid analysis and supplier comparisons
- Conduct research on supplier markets, pricing trends, and industry benchmarks to support category strategies
- Review contract summaries to understand key terms such as pricing, SLAs, and service scope, with guidance from senior team members
- Support tracking of supplier performance against contractual obligations and internal KPIs
- Assist in creating clear and compelling presentations and data visualizations to share insights with stakeholders and sourcing teams
- Follow data and reporting standards established by the team to ensure consistency and quality
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, finance, statistics, data science, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau or other data analysis and visualization tools
- Understanding of data models and data relationships to facilitate analytics
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
