About The Team

Responsible for post close of large syndicated cashflow participation deals, delivering multifaceted support services for our business partners. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to establishing and ongoing maintenance of accounts, loans, and/or cards; managing exceptions for several payment channels; researching or reconciling complex information; and routinely acts as a point of escalation. Accountable for performing assigned functions efficiently while ensuring all regulations, procedures, and polices are adhered to. Provides helps to ensure the day-to-day functions are executed according to policies and procedures.

Key Deliverables

Loan IQ/Quality Control/Loan Servicing Knowledge

Performs assigned activities required to support Global Operations. Works independently and has proven expertise that is applied to the essential functions. Utilizes knowledge or resources to resolve complex issues; seldom encounters issues requiring escalation. General operations functions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all ongoing daily activity and reconciliation issues associated with assigned portfolio of 60-80 deals.
  • Monitor customer borrowings, payments, and rate setting activities.
  • Contact agents in regard to maturing loans for renewal or repayment.
  • Calculate monthly and quarterly fees & interest and reconcile the amount with the agent bank calculation.
  • Process loans, deposits, commitment and Letter of Credit facilities for cashflow deals.
  • Process any amendment transactions by updating Loan IQ, calculating applicable fees and applying any associated fees and/or cost allocations.
  • Monitor and reconcile any past due, suspense or account receivable items, notifying account manager of any true delinquencies.
  • Process all trading activity on portfolio, preparing funding memos and standard bank confirmations when necessary.
  • Process customer audit confirmations in a timely manner.
  • Accountable to administer all loans in accordance with the terms of governing documents, relevant legislation and company policy.
  • Support management with various inquiries and audits.
  • Completing and overseeing daily checklist ensuring all controls, procedures and processes relating to the assigned functions are followed.
  • Proactively managing operational risk inherent in business.
  • Ensuring all operational risk/issues are identified and mitigated appropriately and proactively.
  • Delivering transactions in agreed time - frames, as per SLA's whilst improving quality of processing, reducing errors and inculcating the zero-error culture.
  • Work with internal business partners and vendors as required. Accountability for understanding and adhering to bank policies, procedures, legal and compliance requirements are critical in this role.
  • Will work with commercial loan operations managers or other senior GLO staff to research loan related inquiries, respond to internal and external requests for information, review and certify various reports, champion new initiatives, and encourage the sharing of key learning and best practices across work units.

Technical/Business Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related area, or relevant experience
  • 46-year financial operations experience
  • Superior communications and multitasking skills, with the ability to interact with multiple individuals and Agent banks.
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ, MS Office and Clear Par a plus.
  • Expertise in MS Office tools
  • Hands on experience in LoanIQ

  • Reports to: Senior Manager/ Assistant Vice President, Banking Operations
  • Partners: Onshore teams and various business lines
