We are looking for a curious and driven AI Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to craft user-centred wireframes and prototypes powered by modern AI tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your design craft while working at the intersection of human experience and artificial intelligence.
- Support end-to-end design work across discovery, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, developing your craft at every stage of the process.
- Translate design requirements grounded in user research and business goals into clear, intuitive product flows and wireframes.
- Identify improvement opportunities within existing product features and contribute ideas that better meet user needs.
- Communicate design concepts clearly to cross-functional teams, gathering feedback and iterating collaboratively.
- Follow established design standards to ensure consistency and coherence across the product, contributing suggestions where you see opportunities to improve.
- Collaborate with engineering during implementation to help ensure the final product faithfully reflects design intent.
- Stay current with AI design tools, industry trends, and best practices, and actively apply these to improve the quality and speed of your work.
- Keep the user at the heart of every decision, advocating for user-centred thinking in team conversations.
- Partner with product owners to help them get comfortable using AI tools for making quick, self-service updates to wireframes empowering the wider team to move faster and more independently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product or UX design experience, ideally with some exposure to SaaS products; recent graduates with strong portfolios are welcome.
- A foundational understanding of AI systems and an enthusiasm for designing AI-driven flows and human-AI interactions.
- Working knowledge of the design process from user research and information architecture to wireframing, interaction design, and usability testing.
- A portfolio (even if early-stage) that shows design thinking, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for solving user problems.
- Good communication skills able to explain design decisions clearly and incorporate feedback constructively.
- A systematic thinker who can consider the bigger picture while staying precise in execution.
- Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions.
- Collaborative and proactive you take ownership, ask good questions, and bring energy to a fast-paced team environment.
- A problem-solving mindset with a healthy dissatisfaction with good enough always looking for ways to improve.
