Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly across various systems and applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure that solutions are scalable and meet evolving business requirements. The work environment embraces agile methodologies, encouraging iterative development and frequent feedback to enhance software performance and reliability. This position demands creativity and problem-solving to adapt modern frameworks and technologies, ensuring that the delivered software aligns with organizational goals and user expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Analyze and model data structures within the SAP BW environment.

-Implement and customize SAP BW solutions to meet business requirements.

-Extract, transform, and integrate data from various sources (e.g., SAP ERP systems).

-Develop and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business processes.

-Provide technical support and train users to ensure effective use of the system.

-Optimize existing SAP BW processes and continuously improve systems.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

-Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

-Several years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP BW solutions.

-Strong knowledge of data modeling, data analysis, and report creation.

-Experience with data extraction and integration processes.

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with a solution-oriented mindset.

- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.

- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.

- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project objectives and deliverables effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Extensive experience of SAP BW/4HANA and/or BW/onHANA

-Hands on experience in Business Warehouse including Extraction, Modelling, and Query design.

-Experience with BW extractors, Master Data, DSOs, Composite Providers, Queries, Process chains, etc.

-Understanding of data extracts, report design and report development

-Understanding of SAP BW full life cycle development experience from design through implementation and production support

-Significant and recent experience in frontend tools like Analysis for Office (AFO) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

-Experience with SAP ABAP design and development and with AMDP (SQL) scripting

-Knowledge of interface technology like KAFKA streaming, REST Web Services, Database interfaces are an advantage

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.

- Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models that optimize performance and scalability.

- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within SAP environments.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data warehousing and reporting.

- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP BW/4HANA and other enterprise systems.

- Skilled in optimizing query performance and managing large datasets efficiently.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.

- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
