Senior Analyst - Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Research, reconcile, and update transactions.
  • Read and understand documents with observations and findings, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
  • Supervise and analyze data for various participants, preparing unaudited financial documents as well as reports.
  • Lead and develop teams, handle work pressure, run migrations, and adhere to SLAs.
  • Reconcile data with an auditor's approach.
  • Prepare reports and perform variance analysis of financial documents.
  • Prepare and perform tasks related to developing schedules concerning financial documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues efficiently.
  • Assist and supervise team members, keeping track of daily results.

Abilities

  • Authority understanding of accounting and financial concepts and terminologies.
  • Proficient in Excel and techno-savvy to handle large volumes of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to explain data and reports to senior leaders and collaborators.
  • Ability to engage and coordinate with collaborators effectively.
  • Adaptable, agile, and flexible to change.
  • Strong teammate with outstanding collaboration skills.
  • Willing to work in shifts to guarantee timely completion of tasks and involvement in review meetings.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new business processes.
  • Solid understanding of AP/AR/GL functions.
  • Basic understanding of booking and payment of invoices.
  • Skilled in performing account reconciliations.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel functionality and other MS Office tools (PowerPoint/Word).
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Qualification

  • 4-6 years of meaningful work experience in the finance/accounts function, preferably in an offshore setup.
  • Commerce graduation/post-graduation or CA/ICWA Intermediate.
