Job DescriptionTattvaSilicon is seeking an experienced Analog Design Engineer to join our analog/mixed-signal design team. As a Senior Analog Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex analog circuits including high-performance amplifiers, precision data converters, advanced PLLs, power management solutions, and other critical analog IP blocks. You will work on cutting-edge analog designs for complex SoCs and standalone analog products, taking ownership of design from specification to silicon validation.
This role requires a seasoned professional with proven expertise in analog circuit design, who can independently drive projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions for analog subsystems. Domain knowledge in one of the following areas is highly desirable: High-speed SerDes, Data converters (ADC/DAC), Power management ICs, RF circuits, Sensor interfaces, or similar analog/mixed-signal subsystems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of complex analog circuits (high-speed amplifiers, precision comparators, voltage references, etc.)
- Design and architect high-performance data converters (ADC, DAC) for various applications including high-speed and precision applications
- Design advanced phase-locked loops (PLL), clock generation circuits, and clock distribution networks
- Design power management circuits (LDOs, charge pumps, DC-DC converters, power switches)
- Design analog front-ends for sensors, interfaces, and communication systems
- Perform comprehensive circuit simulation using SPICE and advanced simulators (Monte Carlo, corner, noise, stability analysis)
- Optimize designs for performance, power, area, and yield across process corners
- Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Define analog IP specifications and requirements based on system-level needs
- Collaborate closely with layout engineers to ensure optimal physical implementation
- Lead silicon validation, characterization, and debug activities
- Work with system engineers and architects to define analog subsystem requirements
- Contribute to analog design methodology improvements and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex analog design issues
- Interface with foundry partners on process technology and device models
- Create comprehensive design documentation and technical reports
- Support customer technical discussions and requirements analysis
Required QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree (M.Tech/M.S.) preferred, especially with analog/mixed-signal focus
- PhD with analog circuit research experience is a plus
Experience- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design
- Proven track record of successful tapeouts and silicon validation
- Experience with multiple analog design projects from concept to production
Technical Skills- Deep understanding of analog circuit fundamentals and advanced design techniques
- Expert knowledge of CMOS transistor operation, device physics, and process technology
- Mastery of analog circuit topologies (differential pairs, current mirrors, cascode structures, etc.)
- Extensive experience with SPICE simulation and advanced analysis techniques
- Strong expertise in analog design principles (gain, bandwidth, noise, linearity, stability)
- Proven experience in data converter design (ADC, DAC) with various architectures
- Strong experience in PLL and clock generation circuit design
- Proficiency with EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSpice, ADE, etc.)
- Deep understanding of layout considerations and parasitic effects in analog circuits
- Experience with advanced analog techniques (chopping, auto-zeroing, correlated double sampling, etc.)
- Knowledge of mixed-signal design considerations and digital-analog interfaces
- Experience with high-speed analog design and signal integrity
- Understanding of power management circuit design
- Experience with analog IP integration in SoCs
- Proven experience in silicon validation, characterization, and debug
- Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and yield optimization
- Experience with multiple process nodes (28nm, 40nm, 65nm, etc.)

- Knowledge of advanced process technologies (FinFET, FD-SOI, etc.)
- Experience with analog IP development and licensing
- Proven track record of leading analog design teams
- Experience with analog design automation and scripting
- Knowledge of system-level analog design and architecture
- Experience with automotive or industrial grade analog designs
- Publications or patents in analog circuit design
- Experience with analog design methodology development
- Knowledge of analog test and characterization methodologies
