Job Title: Analog Design Engineer Lead
Location: Bengaluru, India
Experience: 5+ Years (Relevant Experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Analog Lead Design Engineer to drive the design and development of Analog Front-End (AFE) circuits for our advanced sensor-based systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data converters (ADCs/DACs) and precision analog signal chains, leading projects from concept to silicon validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and validation of high-performance ADCs and DACs for sensor data acquisition and signal processing systems.
- Architect and develop low-noise analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, and signal conditioning blocks.
- Manage complete ASIC design flow, from architecture definition and schematic design to tape-out and silicon bring-up.
- Mentor and guide junior analog designers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work collaboratively with digital, firmware, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and optimal performance.
- Perform post-silicon validation and characterization, driving design improvements and yield optimization.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
- Demonstrated expertise in ADC/DAC design with at least one successful tape-out.
- Strong background in low-noise amplifiers, voltage/current references, and precision analog design.
- Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and Calibre design and verification tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex design blocks and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with low-power design for battery-operated and portable systems.
- Familiarity with sensor interfaces such as MEMS, capacitive, or piezoelectric sensors.
- Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance, signal integrity, and functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
- Knowledge of mixed-signal verification methodologies and collaboration with digital verification teams.
