Position Summary
As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications used across multiple business functions.
You'll collaborate closely with leadership to transform ideas into scalable software products while leveraging Claude Code as your primary development platform.
This is a hands-on engineering position with significant ownership, technical autonomy, and the opportunity to shape both our products and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain modern full-stack web applications.
- Use Claude Code extensively throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
- Develop production-quality software using AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Build and enhance enterprise software platforms including CRM, ATS, warehouse management, AI analytics, operational intelligence, workflow automation, and customer-facing applications.
- Design and implement REST APIs and backend services.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications hosted on Amazon EC2.
- Configure and manage Linux-based production environments.
- Configure and maintain Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare Tunnel, DNS, SSL, and Zero Trust.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Recommend improvements to architecture, scalability, performance, and security.
- Stay current with emerging AI development tools and identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience building production-grade full-stack web applications.
- Professional experience using Claude Code or demonstrated expertise with AI-first software development tools and workflows.
- Strong understanding of AI-assisted software engineering and prompt engineering.
- Experience reviewing, validating, testing, and refining AI-generated code.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience developing backend applications using Node.js.
- Strong SQL and relational database design experience.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience deploying applications to Amazon EC2.
- Experience administering Linux servers.
- Strong Git version control experience.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently own projects from concept through production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
