Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior AI/ML Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Senior AI/ML Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions to support financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing algorithms, implementing neural network architectures, and applying pattern recognition techniques to complex business datasets. The role involves collaborating with advisory consultants and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI/ML products, conducting experiments, evaluating model performance with statistical methods, and preparing clear documentation and reports. The engineer will also contribute to system design, code reviews, best practices in software engineering, and mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with experience building production-grade software systems.
- Expertise in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including hands-on work with modern deep learning frameworks.
- Solid background in Statistics and applied mathematical modeling for model evaluation and validation.
- Proficiency with AI/ML tools and languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, scikit-learn) and data processing frameworks.
- Experience deploying models to production (APIs, microservices, MLOps practices, version control, CI/CD).
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions, especially in financial, consulting, or analytics domains.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kolkata.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field; prior experience in a senior or lead AI/ML role is highly beneficial.
