Senior AI Engineer (Computer Vision)

Hendricks Corp is a Singapore-headquartered company building AI-powered video analytics and applied data intelligence platforms. Our systems are deployed across Government, Security, Entertainment, Hospitality, and Enterprise environments where AI is expected to perform reliably in production—not as a proof of concept.

We are establishing a new AI engineering team in Bangalore that will work closely with our Singapore and Jakarta teams. This is a build-first culture. We hire engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems, shipping production systems, and taking ownership of what they build.

We're looking for a hands-on Senior AI Engineer to lead our new Bangalore engineering pod.

This is not a management role. You'll be writing code, training and deploying models, building production pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers while working directly with our AI/Project Lead in Singapore.

You'll contribute to live client deployments across computer vision, video analytics, and applied GenAI systems used by enterprise customers across multiple industries.

• Design, build and deploy production-ready computer vision and AI systems
• Develop object detection, tracking, recognition and video analytics pipelines
• Build and optimise data pipelines for large-scale image and video datasets
• Integrate GenAI and LLM technologies including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
• Deploy AI models to cloud, on-premise and edge environments
• Investigate and resolve production issues across models, pipelines and integrations
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Work closely with engineering teams in Singapore, Jakarta and Bangalore
• Document architecture and engineering decisions
• Stay current with advances in Computer Vision and GenAI, bringing practical improvements into production

We care far more about what you've built than what you've studied.

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems
• Strong Python and working proficiency in C/C++
• Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• Strong Computer Vision experience (OpenCV, YOLO or similar frameworks)
• Experience deploying production AI systems using Docker, APIs and basic MLOps practices
• Practical experience with GenAI/LLMs, including LLM APIs, vector databases, RAG or agent frameworks
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Bonus if you have experience with:

• NVIDIA Jetson or other edge AI hardware
• NVIDIA DeepStream
• TensorRT
• Model optimisation techniques (quantisation, pruning)
• LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks
