Senior AI and ML Engineer Sigmatic.ai

Location: Remote / Hybrid (DELHI)

Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Design and build LLM-based agents to assist ASC administrators, surgeons, and owners (reports, alerts, insights, financial analytics, equity scenarios).
  • Implement RAG architectures combining:
  • SQL data
  • PDFs/reports/documents
  • Event logs from surgery centers
  • Work with our data model to create a unified data layer powering dashboards and AI experiences.
  • Integrate with AWS Bedrock and related AI services.
  • Expose models and logic via APIs / backend services.
  • Continuously monitor and improve:
  • Model quality
  • Latency
  • Hallucination control (validation, guardrails, feedback loops).

Requirements

  • 8+ years in ML / Applied AI.
  • Strong Python; experience with modern LLM tooling (Bedrock, OpenAI, LangChain, etc.).
  • Experience with:

  • Vector databases (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
  • Data engineering fundamentals (ETL pipelines, data cleaning, feature engineering).
  • Comfortable working with SQL and relational data models.

  • Bonus:
  • Healthcare, fintech, or enterprise SaaS background.
  • Prior experience building analytics or operations tools.

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience

2+ years leading engineering teams or technical projects

Strong skills in architecture, system design, and code quality

Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams

High levels of ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving ability

Experience working in agile environments

Ability to deliver clean, scalable, production-ready features quickly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with healthcare technology, clinical systems, or ASC operations

Experience building AI-powered applications, automation pipelines, or digital-twin systems

Background integrating IoT or sensor-driven data

Start-up or high-growth environment experience
