Location - Pune/Noida
Years of experience - 10 to 15 years
Impact
Use your skills working with Dot Net experience to support large scale distributed applications. As a Dot Net support engineer, you will be part of a support and development team ensuring the transactional parts of our systems are always up and available.
The Job
- Support operationally large scale .Net application for meeting defined SLAs.
- Production support of client facing applications that spans across 15+ countries
- Design, develop, code and debug software systems, or applications for software as needed.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to promote code or infrastructure changes on schedule.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable operational automation process and code.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address issues.
- Practice Agile methodologies.
- Have the drive and passion to ensure consistent end-to-end user experience.
- Willing to work weekend on-call support
Qualifications & Skills Required
- UG - B. Tech/B. E./MCA
- 10+ years developing and maintaining web-based applications.
- Proficient in .Net/.Net Core, Microsoft SQL Server with a good knowledge of their ecosystems.
- Experienced in supporting funding and payment applications.
- Good to understanding of monitoring tools Dynatrace, SCOM.
- Good to have understanding of DevOps tools Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible.
- Good understanding of JIRA
- Strong understanding of support processes with SLAs, ERT, ORT.
- Ability to triage and publish RCAs for scalable systems issues.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Skill for writing reusable libraries.
- Experience with popular web application frameworks.
- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
- Contribute to Automation and Operational Excellence efforts.
- Ability to coordinate with Infrastructure support teams and get things done
- Strong experience with AWS, and should be familiar with concepts such as EC2, ALB, Route52, Container services, CloudWatch, Lambda Expressions, IAM, networking.
Preferred
- Supporting large-scale distributed application operations hosted on AWS infrastructure.
- Excellent grasp on support process and monitoring
- Cobalt programming knowledge will be highly advantageous
- Working closely with server-side and ISS teams
