Job Description

We seek a seasoned Scrum Master Senior Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will foster a high-performing Agile environment, guiding teams and Product Owners toward continuous improvement and successful project delivery. You will leverage your deep understanding of Scrum principles and your coaching expertise to empower teams, remove obstacles, and ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews) to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate with the team and Product Owner to define clear commitments for user stories, defects, and tasks.
  • Promote open communication and conflict resolution within the team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, tracking team velocity and progress to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coach and mentor teams and Product Owners to enhance their understanding and application of Scrum practices, leading to higher levels of Agile maturity.
  • Cultivate a trusting and transparent environment that encourages open problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Lead by example, embodying servant leadership principles to empower and support the team.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor team performance and inform decision-making.
  • Guide estimation techniques and coach teams and Product Owners on effective planning practices.
  • Apply advanced coaching and facilitation techniques to drive continuous improvement and team development.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (BE) or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Preferred: First-level Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM I).
  • Comprehensive understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continual improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with team collaboration tools such as JIRA and ADO.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to remove impediments and ensure smooth project execution.
