Salary: 20,000 To 32,500 per month + Performance-Based Incentives
Job Summary
Chandigarh University is seeking dynamic, target-driven Admission Counselors / Senior Admission Counselors to join its admissions team. The role involves proactive telecalling, handling student and parent inquiries, counseling prospective students, and converting leads into successful admissions while consistently achieving enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
Telecalling & Lead Management
- Make 100+ outbound calls per day to prospective students and parents from provided lead databases
- Handle inbound inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email professionally
- Conduct cold calling and regular follow-ups on assigned leads
- Maintain accurate records of conversations, follow-ups, and lead status in the CRM
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly calling and conversion performance
- Achieve assigned admission and enrollment targets
Admission Counseling
- Counsel students and parents regarding university programs, eligibility criteria, admission process, fee structure, scholarships, and key dates
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable academic programs
- Build trust and long-term relationships with prospective students and parents
- Follow up consistently until admission confirmation or closure
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Admission Counselor / Telecaller / Education Sales Executive
- Experience in Education or EdTech industry preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and relationship-building skills
- Target-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools)
