Role Description The Senior Admission Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The role involves guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process, including providing information on programs, eligibility, fees, and career outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling walk-ins and inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, following up with leads via phone and email, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and applicant status. The counsellor will collaborate with academic and marketing teams to support admission campaigns, participate in school visits, education fairs, and events, and help achieve enrolment targets. The role requires a professional, student-centered approach and adherence to institutional policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills for effective counseling and relationship-building.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic support to prospective students and families.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert enquiries into admissions while maintaining a consultative, ethical approach.
  • Candidates should possess an understanding of the Education sector, academic programs, and admission processes.
  • Relevant experience (typically 3+ years) in admissions, counseling, education sales, or student services.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in Management, Education, or related field is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or admissions management tools, with strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, including occasional extended hours during peak admission periods.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi, with the ability to address diverse backgrounds in a professional and inclusive manner.
