Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Actuarial Analyst (Reserving) based in Gurgaon. The Senior Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for conducting actuarial analyses to support reserving, reinsurance and financial reporting. Key tasks include applying statistical and financial models, analyzing data to inform decision-making, preparing reports and documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective communication of complex findings to key stakeholders.

Qualifications (Necessary)

• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics for actuarial & financial modeling
• Excellent Communication skills to present complex data and interact with stakeholders
• Experience in the Health/General insurance domain or actuarial practices is advantageous
• A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Commerce or a related field
• Progress toward actuarial certifications (e.g., exams from recognized actuarial bodies) is preferable
• Strong exposure to any one programming language (Python/SAS/R)
