You will take ownership of day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while shaping best practices, implementing controls, and mentoring junior colleagues. As one of the first senior hires, you will play a key role in creating a structured, efficient function within a fast-growing and dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day purchase ledger operations, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and within deadlines

  • Act as the escalation point for complex invoice queries, disputes, and exceptions
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process enhancements in collaboration with UK Finance and wider stakeholders
  • Supervise month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Collaborate with teams across Pro Carrier and GB Global to ensure consistent and efficient financial operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
  • Strong supplier reconciliation skills and experience handling complex queries
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience building or improving processes and introducing structure
  • Strong Excel and systems skills (ERP experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with international stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a proactive and solution-focused approach

If you're ready to take ownership, build processes, and play a key role in a growing finance function, we'd love to hear from you.
