Job Description

Senior Accounts Manager -Regional Operations is responsible for the endtoend accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions (Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and other assigned entities). This role combines technical accounting expertise, tax compliance, and financial management with leadership responsibilities to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and strategic support for business decisions.

The role also oversees shared services operations to drive alignment and efficiency across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts, &operational finance duties under a shared services model.
  • Manage daily accounting activities, postings, reconciliations and intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
  • Finalize financial statements and consolidated reports for submission to the parent company.
  • Maintaining accurate and secure financial records in compliance with regulations.
  • Review and endorse/approve payments/invoices ensuring strong internal controls for revenue recognition and cost management.
  • Prepare and submit all regulatory submissions within the reporting period (e.g. corporate tax, employee tax clearances, CPF, GST,SST, WHT etc)
  • Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory and legalrequirements. Maintain zero exposure to Financial Due Diligence and Regulatory Compliances.
  • Apply tax knowledge to transactions and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Overseebilling, collections, expense tracking, and cash flow management.
  • Monitor bank balances and manage fund flows to meet operational requirements.
  • Review monthly payroll calculations for local and overseas staff, ensure accuracy of payroll reports and bank transfers.
  • Prepare MIS reports (Balance sheets accounts with all supporting schedules).
  • Ensuring budget vs. actual tracking, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and corporate secretarial teams.
  • Collaborate with multicultural teams across regions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supporting strategic financial planning andproviding advisory for business decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Any adhoc tasks (e.g. providing financial info, client accreditations, bank forms, liaise with insurer etc.)

Requirements- Key Competencies:

  • Prior experience in an IT Consulting / Services company is an advantage.
  • Strong teambuilding capabilities across multicultural and regional structures.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, MBA).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Accounts & Finance Operations.
  • Good exposure to regional accounting work.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems (e.g., Navision).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shared-responsibility environment.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
