Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior /Account Executive (Accounts Receivable) to join the Finance team of a prestigious international luxury brand in Singapore. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of payments, accurate financial records while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoicing, collections, receipt postings, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and statements accurately and on time.
  • Monitor customer aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and billing issues promptly.
  • Process customer receipts and allocate payments accurately within the ERP system.
  • Perform month-end AR closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Reconcile AR sub-ledger with the General Ledger.
  • Prepare AR aging analysis and collection reports for management.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting by providing accurate receivable projections.
  • Assemble accrual entries, including Mall loyalty points and Gross Turnover (GTO) expenses

Fixed-Asset Management

  • Manage fixed asset additions, disposals, and write-offs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset records and registers.
  • Calculate, process, and post monthly depreciation entries.
  • Coordinate and assist with periodic physical fixed asset verification exercises.
  • Ensure compliance with internal company policies and applicable accounting standards related to fixed assets.

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience of SAP S4/HANA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP
  • Good initiative, meticulous and a good team player

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Experience in luxury retail, premium retail, FMCG, consumer goods, or multinational companies is preferred.
  • Due to work pass limitations, we are presently not considering applicants that require work pass sponsorship
