Senior Accounting Associate

Shift cover US EST Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM India Time : 5.00pm to 2am

Position : Sr. Accounting Associate

Stride Logistics & Consultants is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support the accounting operations of a Canada-based apparel business.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics ERP, solid accounting fundamentals, and the ability to independently manage core accounting activities in an inventory-driven environment.

• Independently manage AP, AR, General Ledger and daily accounting operations
• Process and review vendor invoices, customer billing, payments and reconciliations
• Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and accounting adjustments
• Support inventory accounting, costing and reconciliations
• Own key activities supporting month-end and year-end close
• Support GST/HST accounting and reconciliations
• Review vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare accounting schedules, reports and management information
• Support external accountants and auditors with required documentation
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained on time

• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience – mandatory
• strong English communication – mandatory. Fluent Hind is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, reconciliations and month-end close
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities during EST business hours

Experience in apparel, retail, wholesale, distribution or other inventory-driven businesses is strongly preferred.
