Transition & Stabilization
- Team member in end-to-end transition of RTR Process (scope, SOPs, SLAs, RACI, knowledge transfer, shadow/parallel runs, sign-off).
- Establish a control framework with documented policies, process maps, risk and control matrices, and KPIs.
- Become a part of setting up of operations, stabilize within agreed timelines, and deliver steady-state performance.
Transactional accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Timely and accurate accrual accounting
- Warranty reserve calculations as per US GAAP
- Inventory accounting
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
- Monitoring and follow through of efficiency and effectiveness in MEC tasks/activity closure
- HFM consolidation and reporting
Analytical
- Perform Balance sheet flux analysis
- Perform financial statements preparation and reporting
- Audit Support
Audit, Compliance & Controls
- Ensure strict adherence to SOX 404, internal controls, revenue/AR policies, and documented evidence (approvals, maker-checker, audit trails).
- Maintain segregation of duties, credit policy governance, write-off approvals, and customer master hygiene.
- Observe data privacy requirements (PII protection) and record retention (audit-ready artifacts).
- Prepare for and support internal/external audits, close findings with action plans.
Process Excellence & Automation
- Identify and execute process improvements (lean, standard work, digital workflows, OCR, bots/RPA for reminders, cash application assist, dispute routing).
- Enhance analytics & dashboards.
- Champion system optimizations (ERP module rules, Blackline, HFM, etc.,).
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Partner with Country Finance Controllers during MEC and Stat reporting and ensure complete support and collaboration.
- Coordinate with Finance controllers and auditors (both internal & external) and extend complete audit support.
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business; MBA/CA/CMA preferred.
- 4 -7 years of core RTR experience with fair exposure of other finance process towers such as accounts payable & receivable; prior transition experience preferred.
- Strong command of core accounting concepts, financial statement review, risk ratings, and audit support.
- Demonstrated track record in high standards of accounting, reporting & service delivery.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, audit requirements, and compliance documentation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP (MS D365) and bolt on tools such as Blackline, BI etc.,
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Transition planning, collaboration and execution skills.
- Good track records of transformation experience.
