Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Coimbatore. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legislation. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, conducting audits, and assisting with financial forecasting and strategic planning. Collaboration with teams across the company is a key part of this position to support informed financial decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting principles, budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparation
- Strong skills in data analysis, financial forecasting, and cost management
- Experience with accounting software and tools for efficient financial tracking and reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance practices, and local financial laws
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications like CPA or CMA are a plus)
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the agriculture, supply chain, or FMCG industry
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
