Role Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can independently own full-cycle month-end close while strengthening financial processes across the accounting function. This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong technical accounting fundamentals with real ownership and process improvement instincts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full month-end and year-end close under US GAAP, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) end-to-end
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and prepare supporting schedules
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for US stakeholders
- Perform variance analysis and identify key financial movements
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance support
- Review the work of junior team members where applicable
- Identify and implement process improvements across accounting workflows
Required Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP exposure
- Proven ability to own full-cycle close independently
- Experience working with US-based companies or international stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to overlap with US business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with deferred revenue, subscription accounting, or recurring revenue models
- Background in SaaS, E-commerce, Fintech, or CPG industries
- Prior process improvement experience
