Role: Crisis Manager

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Overview

The Artistic Company is currently undergoing a critical turnaround phase following 18 months of financial and operational turbulence. We are seeking a Crisis Manager who can take charge of business continuity, risk mitigation, and funding strategy while aligning internal teams toward unified recovery goals.

This role goes beyond routine crisis handling; it requires a visionary executor capable of blending financial restructuring, strategic partnerships, and operational discipline to bring the company back to a position of strength.

Key Responsibilities

Crisis Strategy & Execution

Design and implement a comprehensive business continuity plan tailored to the company's current challenges.

Identify root causes of the crisis across operational, financial, and strategic areas and lead structured recovery initiatives.

Funding & Financial Stabilization

Work closely with leadership to devise innovative funding strategies (short-term capital inflow, structured repayments, investor confidence rebuilding, etc.).

Support in negotiations with financial partners, investors, and vendors to stabilize cash flow and commitments.

Risk Analysis & Mitigation

Analyze potential business and operational risks, develop mitigation frameworks, and implement early-warning systems.

Oversee physical security and business infrastructure continuity.

Incident & Stakeholder Management

Lead real-time response during incidents to ensure smooth operations.

Act as a central liaison between leadership, team heads, investors, and vendors during crisis periods.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with design, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure strategic alignment.

Foster transparent communication and motivate teams to stay focused and productive through uncertainty.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Business Continuity Planning and Crisis Management

Strong analytical and financial problem-solving skills

Understanding of physical security protocols and incident frameworks

Exceptional communication and organizational abilities

Comfortable working under pressure and taking decisive action

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience

Prior experience in agency, startup, or turnaround environments is a plus
