About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Income Tax Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in taxation, hands-on experience in income tax filings and litigation, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and tax authorities.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / Semi-Qualified CA,
• B. Com (Taxation) or an equivalent professional qualification
• 2–3 years of proven experience in Income Tax Filing and Tax Litigation

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management of Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing for individuals, firms, and corporate entities
• Handling income tax assessments, notices, appeals, and litigation matters with accuracy and professionalism
• Drafting detailed responses to notices and representing matters before tax authorities, as required
• Ensuring timely compliance with applicable Income Tax laws, rules, and regulations
• Supporting tax planning initiatives to optimise compliance and minimise risk
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and ensuring audit-ready records
• Preparing insightful reports, statements, and reconciliations using advanced Excel tools

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws and procedures
• Strong exposure to tax litigation and regulatory compliance
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• High proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and reconciliation
• Strong analytical Skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
