About the role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bookkeeping.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts on a monthly basis.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents as required.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense tracking.
- Support management with financial analysis and recommendations.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff, if applicable.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll accounting, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
