Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including managing ledgers, posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with audits, and improving financial processes to support business growth. The role also involves supervising junior accounting staff and providing guidance on best practices in financial management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with taxation, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience in construction, equipment rental, or related industries is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are a plus.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Jaipur.
